LEADERSHIP STYLE
The description of my leadership style is based upon two leadership metrics: the Six Thinking Hats, and Gallup's Clifton Strengths. The Six Thinking Hats characterizes people into six different "hats" that are representative of different ways of thinking. Meanwhile, Gallup's Clifton Strengths uses questioning to highlight five strengths of the test taker. My personal leadership style is to be an empathetic, and strategical leader which is why empathy and strategy were my top two Clifton Strengths. Although I value the emotions of my followers and prioritize empathizing with them, I would still be strategical in evaluating what is the best option for my group while taking into account their emotions. Therefore, I would say my leadership style is more strategical than empathetic, but a strong blend of both. This is consistent with me receiving the yellow hat of the six thinking hats. However, I believe I wear more than one hat as my leadership style is more of a blend of yellow, blue, and white hats. Overall, my leadership style consists of a large blend of empathy and logic.
